Calibrating/Edit Appraisal Final Result

The purpose of Calibrating the Final Score is so that the compensation scheme/budget can be adjusted according to a healthy spread of the final appraisal rating bell curve.


Step 1

To access the calibration page, navigate the left menu & follow the step below.



Step 2

Once you are on the Calibration page, your screen will be displayed as below, (3) is where you will be able to define which appraisal period you would like to calibrate. The center display(4) is where you will be able to view the bell curve of the selected period. 


The list of employees displayed underneath the bell curve (6) is the list of appraisee that has completed their appraisal and is contributing to the display for this bell curve.



If you would like to view the bell curve by specified group, you may click on (7) as shown below, toggle display by selected grouping in (8). In this display, you will be able to toggle on(9) which specified selection you would like to display on the bell curve.



Step 3

To start calibrating the score, start by clicking the calibrate button on the top right corner of the page. Once clicked, the screen will be transitioned as below. 


There are two ways to go about calibration, first is calibrating the score individually at the field available (10). 


Second, is that you could choose to calibrate the score by batch, to do this, you have the option to first perform a filter using (13), followed by selecting either all employee displayed (15) or tick individual employees (14). Next Click on Action (16) on the top right corner of the screen.


 

Step 4

Once you have clicked on Action (16), a drawer will pop up from the right as shown below. There are 3 options here:


  1. Reset Calibration: Clear all Calibrated Scores
  2. Increase Score (17): Increase Score for Selected Employee that matches the criteria
  3. Reduce Score: Decrease Score for Selected Employee that matches the criteria


Make sure to fill in the criteria found in its selection (18), then click Next (19), to validate the affected employees and click confirm.



Step 4

When you are satisfied with the calibrated score & bell curve, you may proceed to save your changes by clicking on (20) located at the top right corner of the screen.
