Defining final rating scale for Appraisal

The purpose of the Final Rating Scale is for the calculations of the Annual Appraisal Assessment Score. This allows the system to display the final score based on the scale that's been assigned on this page.


Step 1

Navigate from the menu on the left and as shown in the image below:



Step 2

Once you arrived on the Final Rating Library Page, the screen be displayed as below. Here you will decide if you would like to create a new Final Rating Scale by clicking (4), or you may choose to edit the existing scale display on (5).  


Note that even if you have set up any scale, there will be a default scale display right at the top of the list under (5). this is the system's default final rating scale if you have assigned more than 1 template/assessment to an individual.



Step 3

If you have clicked on Add New (4), a new form will be displayed as below. Start by choosing a name for this scale under (7), and continue with adding the rating scale under 8 to 11.


  • Rate - This is the rating that will be displayed to the Appraisee & Appraiser when they are filling up the appraisal form
  • Description - This is the description that provides meaning to a rating.
  • Color - This color is used for report display purposes
  • Rating Range - This allows you to define the range to score for receiving the specific rating(8).

The Main Rating Display Option (12), is for you to determine what kind of information you would like to be displayed for the Appraisee. (12) lets you decide the main rating you will be using as a reference to rate the appraisee's performance. (13) are the additional rating information that you can choose to share with the appraisee.


This option affects how the rating is displayed in the final appraisal reports



Step 3

When you are done, click on the Save button (14), located at the top right corner of the screen.
