The purpose of creating a Goal/KPI template is for you to have a compilation of goals that you will be assigning as a list of goals to specific individuals.

Step 1

To start creating a Goal Template, navigate to the left menu and follow the step below to the Goal Library Screen.

Step 2

Once you are on the Goal Library page as shown below, you may click on Add New(4) to create a new template, or click on one of the previously created goal templates at (5) as shown below.

Step 3

After clicking Add New (4), you will be navigated to the page below. There are a few components on this page, Start by choosing a Name for this Goal Template at (6), followed by a Report Label name at (7).

Next, you will notice you are currently on the Goal Setting portion of the page at (8), in which once we complete entering our goals, we will then move to the next tab. (13),

For now, we will move to (9), this is where you will start keying in your goal, just click on the text Level 1, and you will notice the typing blinker, you may begin to delete the word and replace it with your actual goal. If you would like to add an additional goal, just click on (10) for additional rows.

Located on (11) is where you will find the weightage field for this specific goal, in which (12), is the total weightage from the list of goals you have entered.

*Note: It is not compulsory for you to enter exactly 100% for total weightage, you may enter the amount as you like, the system will automatically help you calculate out of 100%

Once you have finished entering the goal & weightage, proceed to click on (13).

Step 4

When you arrive on the second tab of the page, you will see the screen as below, the list on the left (14) are the goals you have created so far, this column allows you to toggle between different goals. The column on the right (15) is where you may set variables for each goal.

Proceed to select one of the goals from (14), and choose a rating scale that you will use to measure this Goal under the Rating Scale Selector at (15), the selection in this is from the goal scale template that you have created in the system here.

Step 5

Once you have selected one of the Rating Scale on (15), you will notice the scales you selected displayed underneath at (16), at its current layout, you will be able to leave your description explaining what it would mean to get this rating.

If you would like the appraisee to enter a measurable update on occasions (e.g. MYR15,000 sales secured), you may choose to toggle on (18) by choosing a goal type. Goal Target (19) is where you enter the actual target, if you choose numeric, you may only Numbers, next on Goal Unit (20), you may enter the measuring unit, e.g. MYR.
