How to Set a Fixed Date For The Payslip Release?

Modified on Tue, 07 Feb 2023 at 02:59 PM

Note: After payroll processing, you may want to withhold the payslips first before they are published. You may want to release it on a certain day before/after the salary is released. You can set this under the payroll policy setting as per the below guide.

Step 1

On the left icon, click Setting > Payroll > Payroll Policies.

Step 2

Select the payroll policy that you want to configure by double-clicking on the respective policy's Scheme Name.

Step 3

The General Setting screen will appear, as shown in the screenshot below. Click on Edit.

Step 4

Scroll down until you see the Employee Self-Service Policy. Under the Payslip Availability, you will see three options as shown in the screenshot below. To release the payslips together on the date of the salary crediting, select Immediately.

To release the payslip on a certain date, click on Fixed Date. Then input how many days before/after the end of the month. For example, 3 days before the end of the month on January 2020 will be 28th January 2020, as illustrated below:

  • End of month: 31/1/2020
  • 1st day before the end of the month: 30/1/2020
  • 2nd day before the end of the month: 29/1/2020
  • 3rd day before the end of the month: 28/1/2020

The Relative Date function works the same way but instead of being relative to the end of the month, it is relative to after the payment date. For example:

  • Payment Date: 28/1/2020
  • 1st day after payment date: 29/1/2020
  • 2nd day after payment date: 30/1/2020
  • 3rd day after payment date: 31/1/2020

*Note: Kindly be informed that all changes we made in the payroll policy will change to the current changes after reprocessing the payslip.
