This article guides you on how to enable payslip email notifications to employees once payroll has been processed.
To activate this feature, there are three key configurations you need to check.
Payroll Policy – Enable Payslip Email Notification under Employee Self Service Policy.
Company Settings – Activate payslip email attachment at the company level.
Process Payroll – Payslips will be emailed to employees upon first payroll generation.

1) Payslip Email Notification in Payroll Policy
Step 1
On the left menu, go to Setting (a) > Payroll (b) > Payroll Policies (c).
Step 2
Select a payroll policy from the list. Under General Setting, scroll down until you find Employee Self Service Policy.
Step 3
Click Edit on top right and toggle on Email Notification on Payslip Availability. Click Save.
Other settings under this section (e.g. acknowledgement, first & last name, reminder) are optional based on your company’s preferences.
2) Payslips Email Attachment button in Company's general setting
Step 1
On the left menu, go to Setting (a) > General (b) > Company (c). Select your company.
Step 2
Under General tab, scroll down to Payroll.
Step 3
Click Edit on top right and activate Payslips Email Attachment. Click Save.
3) Process Payroll
Process payroll as usual. You may refer to:
Important:
Employees will receive the payslip email within 30 minutes after the payroll is processed.
The email will only be triggered on the first payslip generation. If you generate payroll a second time, the email will not be sent again.
To resend the email, you must delete the existing payslip and generate the payroll again.
Payslip Email Password Protection
For security purposes, the payslip PDF attachment is password-protected. Kindly refer to your email for more instruction.
This safety feature is currently under development. In the meantime, the default password for all payslip attachments is 0000.
This is a temporary measure while full password protection is being developed. The default password will remain in place until further announcement.
