Cancelling Overtime Request as a Requestor

This article will guide you on how to:

  • Withdraw Pending Planned Overtime Request

  • Cancel Approved Planned Overtime Request

The method applies to both self-overtime and planned overtime requests. In this article, we use a planned overtime request as an example to illustrate the steps.


Type A: Withdrawal of Pending Planned Overtime Request


Step 1

On the right menu, go to My Request (a). Then, click  Planned Overtime (b).

Click on the Pending (c) to view all unapproved overtime requests. To cancel an overtime request, click Withdraw (d).


Step 2

You will see a drawer to toggle on the staff you would like to cancel the request for. Then click top right Withdraw Selected.

You will see a pop-up message to confirm your action.

Then your request is cancelled successfully. 



Type B: Cancellation of Approved Planned Overtime Request


Step 1

Click on the Approved (a) to view all approved overtime requests. To cancel an overtime request, click Cancel (b).



Step 2

Upon clicking, the Cancellation Remark tab will appear. Put your Remarks for cancellation and click Submit


After submission, this will be in Pending tab. You can see Pending has 3 items now. 


 

Note: You can view all your withdrawn pending requests and cancellations of the approved requests under the cancelled tab once your superior approves your cancellation request.
