A Complete Guide for Employees on How to Use Attendance Module



Hello! If you are a new user of the Worksy system, you may be curious about how to clock using our attendance systems program or any other settings to be used.


Here is the guide (knowledge base) that you can follow to learn more about how to use attendance for your created account.

1. Available Clocking Methods on Worksy 


To familiarize yourself with the different clocking methods available in Worksy, we recommend referring to the relevant articles. This will help you understand how to clock in and out using the system, depending on the specific method chosen by your HR Admin.

2. Clock In/Clock Out


After knowing the clocking methods available here is the step on how you can use the method that has been chosen by your management to be used.

3. View My Attendance


It must be so curious for you to check whether your clocking data has been captured in the system or not.


This feature allows you to track your attendance records and check for any incomplete entries or assigned shifts. It provides you with a comprehensive overview of your attendance status.

4. My Request


As an employee, there may be instances where you need to request adjustments to your attendance records.


Worksy provides a convenient feature that enables you to submit requests for various adjustments, such as updating incomplete clock entries or changing shifts. We encourage you to utilize this feature after discussing your requirements with your supervisor.

  • Submitting Overtime Request
    •  If you have worked overtime and need it to be recognized and compensated accordingly, you can submit an overtime request. This feature enables you to inform your supervisor or HR department about the additional hours you have worked beyond your regular schedule.

  • Submitting Change Shift Request
    • In case you need to request a change in your assigned shift due to unforeseen circumstances or scheduling conflicts, you can use the change shift request function. This allows you to communicate your request for a shift modification to the appropriate authority for consideration and approval.

  • Submitting Incomplete Clock Entry Request
    • If you have encountered issues with clocking in or out accurately, resulting in incomplete entries in your attendance records, you can submit a request to update those entries. This function enables you to notify your supervisor or HR department about the missing clock entries and request their amendment.

  • Submitting Lateness/Short Hour Request
    • If you have experienced lateness or worked fewer hours than scheduled due to valid reasons, you can submit a request for lateness/short-hour adjustment. This function allows you to report the actual time you arrived or left work, providing an accurate representation of your attendance.



5. Checking Overtime Status:


Apart from the My Request section, you can also monitor your overtime status through other screens, such as the attendance and notifications sections. This will provide you with a clear overview of your overtime history and its current status.

6. Cancelling Overtime Requests:


If you encounter any unforeseen issues after requesting overtime, Worksy offers a cancellation feature. This allows you to cancel your overtime request as needed, providing flexibility and convenience.
