Step 1
On the left menu, go to Employee. Under Progression, click on Update.
Step 2
Once clicked, you will see the individual employee's employment information as shown below
Note: There are 2 important things to select for salary update:
a. Change the effective date
b. Update the current basic Salary amount
You can also update other information that is relevant in the given fields.
Step 3
Once you have updated these 2 items, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click Update Employee.
Step 4
To check if your update of salary is successful, you can check at the employee’s profile:
- Employment Tab:
- Timeline Tab:
Note: For a future-dated update, for example, a job title change, the update will only be reflected once the future date has arrived. This can be seen under the employee details:
1. Job title below the name under the employee's profile
2. Under the employment tab, under Position
