Managing Allowed Clocking Method for Employees

The allowed clocking method for employees is based on the Work Schedule they have been assigned to. You can set up a clocking method within the schedule that has been assigned to your particular group of employees. 


Step 1


Start by navigating to the schedule listing as shown in Steps 1-3 below:

Once you arrive on the Schedule List, proceed to choose the schedule you would like to configure.

Now that you have selected the specific schedule you would like to configure, click on the Attendance tab as shown below, followed by clicking on Edit to toggle edit mode. 


Next, navigate to Clocking Method section and choose which clocking method this schedule is able to use. Once you are done configuring, click on the Save button in the top right corner:

For face detection clocking, the system needs to detect a face to clock-in successfully if you enable camera permission. If you do not have a face detected during clock-in, system will prompt an error as below. 

Note: If you disallow camera permission, then the system allows clock-in without a face detected. This is to ensure successful clocking if the camera is broken.
