Possible cause #3: Available leave has exceeded entitled leaves
Example scenario: Employee wants to apply for 14 days annual leave. However, his current available leave is only 12.5 days.
If the employee applies for more than 12.5 days of leave, the system shows that the employee does not have enough available leave.
To resolve the issue, simply ensure that the number of leaves applied should not exceed the leaves available.
Possible cause #4: Today date is not 5 days minimum in advance for the leave start date
Example scenario:
Today is 16/8 and I want to apply for leave on 18/8. However, when clicking “Submit”, the system shows “Start date must be more than or equal to 5 days ”. What does this mean?
To resolve this issue,
You may enable Unplanned Leave for the leave request that doesnt comply minimum advance days to become emergency leave
Navigate to Settings(1) > Leave(2) > Leave Type(3) > Annual Leave(4) > General Settings(5) > Employee Self Service Policy(6) and click Yes(7) to allow taking Unplanned Leave
