How to check if the entitlement generated is correct?

Modified on Fri, 11 Feb 2022 at 10:33 AM

After generating leave entitlement for employees, this is where you come to check whether or not the amount of leave entitlement is generated correctly for every staff. This step not only serves to ensure the entitlement is effective upon generation and also to view employee’s leave balance.

Step 1

On the left menu, click on Leave, as shown in the image above. Once you have selected, click on Individual Leave. Once clicked you will then be on the individual leave page as shown below, start by searching your  Staff’s Name on the left, and click on it. Once clicked, you will then be able to view your Leave Balance on the right.

Note: The first section you will be able to see is your staff’s leave balance, and your staff’s entitled leaves are displayed in a card format as shown below.

Leave Balance

  • Available: The leave balance based on original entitlements
  • Taken: The approved leaves that have already been deducted in the past
  • Current Entitled: The leave balance based on original entitlements and leave adjustments
  • Brought Forward: The addition of leave balance brought forward from the previous year
  • Expired Brought Forward: Brought Forward leave days expired or burnt
  • Adjustment: The addition or deduction of leave amount on top of original entitlement
  • Pairing Adjustment: The leave amount that is deducted from a paired leave
  • Pending Request: The total number of leave days your staff is currently requesting.

Step 2

Scroll down further from the Leave Balance Display, and you will find the Leave History Section at the bottom. On the left portion of this screen, you will find the current leave type each staff is entitled to.

On the right portion, you will find the number of days taken for each type of leave by your staff. You may click on any of these records, and it will show you the  Leave History Details Below.
