To do this there are two ways:
Method 1:
If you have the leave module, you navigate to the leave history screen and add it manually to a specific employee on a specific day by using this guide: How to manually add in leave records? : Knowledge Base (freshdesk.com)
Method 2:
Step 1: The second method is for you to navigate to the employee daily attendance listing. First, you will need to navigate to the Left menu > Attendance System > Attendance > Daily Attendance as shown in the screen below.
Step 2: Proceed to find the staff you would like to edit and change to the date you would like to date by utilizing the filtering bar as shown below.
Step 3: Once you have located the employee, go ahead and click on the row where it displays your employee's attendance data as shown below
Step 4: When clicked you will be brought to a detailed view of their attendance information as shown below.
Step 5: Navigate to the top right corner and click on Edit
Note: if after clicking edit and see the + Action button. That means this attendance has already been approved for payroll processing and you will need to unApprove it before you can make any changes.
If not, once you have clicked the screen change as shown below, you will notice how you will be able to edit the leave section of this page, go ahead and make your changes, and when you are done, go to the right top corner and click Save.
