Function: To assign shifts by day type in the Individual Attendance. This function works as a Duty Roster, especially when you want to assign shifts during a Public Holiday / Off day / Rest Day.
You can assign this from individual attendance or duty roster.
To assign from duty roster, please refer to: How to Assign Shift by Batch in Duty Roster
Step 1
Navigate to the Attendance(1) > Individual Attendance(2).

Step 2
You can allocate a new shift under a Day Type such as:
- Work Day
- Off Day
- Rest Day
- Public Holiday

By allocating a new shift under a Day Type such as Public Holiday, Rest Day, and Off Day, Pre-Approved OT will be automatically captured.
Step 3
Under Shift Details, click Edit shift detail.

Step 4
Select the employee’s shift options that you wish to change and click Apply on the top right side.
(a) Day Type: Work Day

(b) Day type: Public Holiday /Rest Day/ Off Day
Step 4
Once you assign a shift on:
(a) Day Type: Work Day
This is the shift display on a workday.
(b) Day Type: Off Day/ Rest Day / Public Holiday
Assigning a shift on a non-workday will automatically display as Pre-Approved Overtime.
This is a shift on top of Off Day.
This is a shift on top of Rest Day.

This is a shift on top of a Public Holiday.
