Team Attendance Widget on Dashboard

Modified on Fri, 8 May at 10:48 AM

The Team Attendance widget allows managers and supervisors to monitor the daily attendance of their direct reports in real-time based on assigned shifts.

Note: Access to this widget is permission-based. If you cannot see these options, please contact your System Administrator.

How to Enable the Widget

Step 1

Go to the Dashboard and click the Settings (gear icon) in the top right corner.

Step 2

Find and select Team Attendance Overview in the menu. Then, click Save.

Navigating the Widget

Once enabled, you can filter the data to get a specific snapshot of your team's status:

Date Selection: Use the date picker to view attendance records for a specific day.

Shift Filter: Use the drop-down menu to filter results by a specific shift.

Understanding Attendance Statuses

The widget categorizes staff into five tabs. Here is the specific logic for how employees move between these categories:

StatusIcon ColorDescription
Expected-Total number of staff assigned to the selected shift/date.
PresentGreenStaff who have successfully clocked in.
ShortOrangeStaff who clocked in late or clocked out earlier than the shift end time. (does not fulfill scheduled working hours)
LeaveBlueStaff with an approved leave application for that date.
AbsentRedStaff who have not clocked by their shift start time.

They will remain in the Absent tab until a clock-in record is detected.

Under the Expected tab, you can view a color-coded icon next to each staff member representing their current attendance status.

Click on any individual staff member to view their specific attendance data, including clocking time and location.
