Worksy Interface Overview

When you first login into the system, you will be brought to your home page shown below.


On the screen you will find the main section in the middle, we call that one a Dashboard

The Worksy Dashboard offers you a quick glance at all the important information that can be helpful to you in the workplace. 

Each box with information and data inside is called a Widget. Here are some useful widgets, that can be useful for your day-to-day work activities:




a) Daily Clock Log Widget 

This widget displays your work schedule for the day & your daily clocking log. You also can view your selfie, location, and remarks upon your clocking

b) Notice Board 

This widget displays the latest updates & announcements by your management. 

You can click on individual Notices to view more info. 


Note: You may also find some notice specifically for you to Acknowledge. 

Once you have acknowledged, it will be displayed with acknowledged status if not a pending status will be displayed

c) My Work Calendar 

This Widget displays a summary of your work calendar, displaying your day-to-day work hours, the date that you were on leave, and also public holidays. 

You are able to view the agenda that has been assigned to you upon clicking a particular date. 


d) Current Month Summary 

This widget displays a summary of your attendance for the entire month based on different statuses of your attendance, such as Incomplete, which signifies how many times you have clocked in but not clocked out, and vice versa.


e) My Leave Summary 

This widget allows you to view your entitled leaves balance, taken, pending, brought forward and etc for the current year. 

You can click the arrow button to scroll vertically to other entitled leaves.

The arrangement of these leave cards can be controlled by the HR Personnel

Note: You can also change the arrangement of widgets by dragging the widget around with the Six Dot Icon, on the left top corner of each widget. (If applicable)



If you would like to customize what is shown on the dashboard, you may click on the Widget setting button located right in the middle top part of your screen, as shown in the image on the left below. 

Follow by ticking the widget you would like to display and click save.




Introduction to the Right Menu

The Right Menu is designed to provide you with all the employee Self Service Function that is involved in your daily work, below is a summary of all the functions available on the right menu:


 My profile 

  • This is where you can access your own profile, for your personal & work-related information.

 Notifications  

  • Any important updates or notifications are listed here. By clicking on an entry in the notification, Worksy will bring you to specify for you to take further action.

 My Calendar & Attendance

  • My calendar provides a full-screen view of your Monthly Schedule, Leave Updates & Public Holidays, you may switch view with the switch on the top right corner, to view your attendance too.

My Request

  • This is where you can view & create new requests for Leave, Overtime, Claim & Swap Shift. Here you may view all your past requests, along with the status of all your existing requests.

My Approval

  • This is where you can view any request that has been directed to you for your approval. For example, Leave Request, Request to become a covering person, etc.

Web Clocking (If Applicable)

  • Web Clocking serves as a way for you to record your attendance using your laptop & your mobile phone.




Introduction to the Left Menu

The Left Menu mainly includes functions that are more specific for HODs & Admin, what you can access in this menu will be dependent on your job scope & user role. Below is a list of menu items usually available for most employees. 


 Dashboard

  • This button serves as a way for you to return back to the dashboard.

Attendance system 

  • Under the Attendance Menu,  you will be able to gain access to a more detailed view of your Daily Attendance.

Leave

  • In the Leave Menu, you will be able to view a detailed view of your current leave history & balances.


Payroll

  • In the Payroll Menu, you will be able to view your monthly payslip as well as generate your annual EA Form
