This guide will show you how to set up leave bring forward, please proceed to Setting up Leave Entitlement & Earning to set up entitlement or head over to Setting up leave types to set up your leave types if you haven't done that yet.
a) Leave Bring Forward Method
- By None = Nothing is brought forward
- Fixed Maximum day(s) = refer back to the Entitlement Table where there is a column that says Maximum Bring Forward Days
To set your entitlement, go to your left menu > Settings > Leave > Annual Leave, press edit, and press the Entitlements page
Click the pencil icon on the right side of the table.
You will be redirected to this page, and this is where you can set up individual entitlement for every employee.
Put the maximum amount of bring forward leave to the 4th column.
Then, in the 5th column, kindly put the amount of Entitle + Bring Forward days accordingly
- % from balance = Put in the percentage of leave an employee can be brought forward. For example, an employee has 12 days of leave, next year they will have 6 bring forward leave if you put in 50%.
b) Leave Credited from Attendance Module Will Expire Within
This function is linked to Replacement Leave. This only applies to companies that reward employees with leave when they work Overtime.
c) Leave Bring Forward Will Expire Within
The period of bring forward leaves from the previous year will be effective for
