Step 1
On your left menu, go to Settings(a). Then click Attendance(b) and choose Schedule(c)

Select one of the Schedules that you wanted to set Overtime Allowance
Step 3
You will be redirected to a page as shown below. Click on the Overtime tab.
Step 4
Click the Edit button. Then, turn ON the Enable Overtime switch (a).
a) Enable Overtime: Activate this button to have the overtime in the schedule
b) Enable Early Overtime: Activate this button to allow your employee to do early overtime (before the shift start)
c) Enable Late Overtime: Activate this button to allow your employee to do late overtime (after the shift end)
d) Alllow Request Backdated Overtime Without Clocking: Enable this button then the system will allow the request backdated overtime without clocking
e) Split Overtime Midnight: the system will split cross-midnight overtime into the next day's early overtime.
f) Pre-Approved Only: The system will only calculate actual overtime hours only if there are pre-approved overtime hours.
g) Overtime Approval Method: Can choose manual or auto-approved
h) Overtime Rounding Method: Can choose Down or Up followed by the overtime rounding step
i) Overtime Rounding step: Can choose 5/10/15/30 minutes or 1 hour to be rounded
j) Overtime Allowance Payroll Item: Can choose the payroll item to be included in this schedule for all of the overtime pay
Step 5
Scroll down your page and you will be able to see different allowance amounts that can be set for different types of the day (Work Day, Off Day, Rest Day, and Public Holiday).
Eg; During the Workday
a) Minimum Overtime Hours: The minimum overtime hours that the employee can do overtime for the workday (Hour & Minutes)
b) Maximum Overtime Hours: The maximum, overtime hours that the employee can do overtime for the workday (Hour & Minutes)
c) Minimum Overtime Hours To Get Allowance: Can able to set the minimum overtime hours to the employee entitled to get the allowance (Hour & Minutes)
d) Allowance For Overtime (RM): Fixed amount can be set in this setting to give the employee allowance if they did the overtime on that particular day type
e) Overtime Rate: This list will display the overtime pattern list that can be chosen to have the specific overtime rate for a different day type
f) Overtime Hour Range: After choosing the overtime rate above the overtime rate table will show the overtime hour range details
Kindly be informed that those settings above during the work day are the same setting that can be edited for During Offday / During Rest Day / During Public Holiday to specifically detect the overtime rate and another setting.
