Confirming Probationary Employee (Career Progression)

Modified on Tue, 13 Dec 2022 at 12:00 PM

Our software provides an easy way for you to confirm the employees who are at the end of their probation.

The confirmation date of an employee is important when an employee has passed his/her probation period (3 or 6 months) and the company decides to confirm an employee’s employment as permanent staff.

Step 1

On the left menu, go to Employee. Under Progression, click Confirmation.

Step 2

Once clicked, you will be able to see a screen showing a list of employees that are still on probation under both the All and My Staff columns. On the “All” columns, select an employee. Then, you will be able to see a similar screen as below

Step 3

At the top part of the page, you will see the selected employee’s employment information such as hired date, years of service, due of confirmation, and probation period, which all are filled up in the Employment tab back in the employee profile.

Step 4

To update the employee’s confirmation date, simply click on the date, and select the date confirmed (*).

Note: At the remaining part of the page, the left side of the page shows the employee’s current employment information, whereas the right side of the page shows the new employment information that is to be updated upon confirmation. Refer to the picture below for an example:

Step 5

To complete the update information, click Confirm Employee. Once you click Confirm Employee, the employee’s information will be updated according to the right “New” column.

Note: For every information changed here will be directly reflected in the timeline tab in the employee profile. (Refer to the picture below as an example)

Note: To check if the addition of the confirmation date is successful, you can go to the employee’s profile, under the Employment tab to check.
