Why SOCSO / EIS Not Deduct in Payslip?

Modified on Mon, 20 Mar 2023 at 06:24 PM

EIS Eligibility:

  • Malaysian citizens/ permanent residents/ temporary residents
  • Aged 18-60
  • Working in the private sector and contributing to EIS
  • Working under a contract of service

SOCSO Eligibility:

  • Aged 18-60

  • All employees who are employed under a contract of service or apprenticeship in the private sector and contractual/temporary staff of Federal / State Government, as well as Federal / State Statutory Bodies, need to be registered and covered by SOCSO. The rate of contribution is capped at a monthly wage ceiling of RM4,000.00.

Why my employee does not get any EIS contribution?

Since the EIS and SOCSO contribution is eligible for 18-60 years old, we need to set the birthdate accordingly

>If the employee age less than 18 years old, there is no EIS and SOCSO contribution.

>If the employee age more than 60 years old, there is no EIS and SOCSO contribution.

Kindly navigate to Employee Profile to set the employee birthdate.

*SOCSO and EIS contribution depends on the employee's Date of Birth and Hired Date.
