There are three (3) types of auto-approve overtime in the schedule settings.
Navigate to Settings (1) > Attendance (2) > Schedule (3) > Overtime (4) as per the image below.
Refer to these explanations below:
1) Intersect Actual & Pre-Approved (Applicable for Overtime Request AND Overlapped working hours)
The system will capture the Approved Overtime Hours as the overlapped timing between both Actual Overtime and Pre-Approved Overtime.
Actual OT Hours: 10:17 - 14:04, 14:34 - 19:01, 19:07 - 21:00
Pre-Approved OT Hours: 11:00 - 19:00
Approved OT Hours (Overlapped timing): 11:00 - 14:04, 14:34 - 19:00
Total Hours: 3 Hours 4 Minutes + 4 Hours 26 Minutes = 7 Hours 30 Minutes
2) Actual Hours (Applicable for Working Hours Only)
The system will capture the Approved Overtime Hours based on the Actual Overtime hours only.
3) Pre-Approved Hours (Applicable for Overtime Requests or Assigned Overtime Only)
The system will capture the Approved Overtime Hours based on the overtime request or Pre-Approved from assigned shifts or shift settings regardless of the clocking record.
