Viewing the breakdown of an employee's tax calculation

Note: The Worksy Income Tax Calculator will show you the breakdown of the monthly tax deduction processed in the particular pay cycle.

Step 1

On the left icons, click on Payroll > Payroll Review > Individual Payroll.

Step 2

Select the employee's name and go to the relevant payroll cycle. You will be able to see the screen as shown in the below screenshot. Click on the PCB link as highlighted in the red box below.

Step 3

You will then be able to see the breakdown of the Income Tax Calculator for this cycle and how the Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD) derives from.

Note: You may also check on the LHDN official calculator page at http://calcpcb.hasil.gov.my if you'd like by selecting the Previously Employed in Current Year for new employees with more than 1 employer in the tax year, or Previously Not Employed in Current Year for an existing employee or first payroll of the year (normally January monthly payroll cycle).
