Setting up Festival Bonus

Purpose: HR Admins can add allowance as Festival Bonus to selected employees that celebrate that added festival. 


Note: Festival Bonus only can be assigned to one festival for each employee in a current year


Step 1

Navigate to Payroll (a) > Transaction (b) > Festival Bonus (c)



Step 2

To start setting up a specific Festival Bonus, you need to click Edit and then Setting as shown in the image below




Step 3

Once clicked Settings, you will be prompted by a side tab as below image. 



i) Payroll Item: Click to select one of the payroll items to link the Festival Bonus to the salary payment


ii) Pay Cycle: Select a pay cycle to pay this Festival Bonus


iii) New Season: Click to add a Festival Season to add the bonus. Once click New Season, you will need to require to add Bonus Name, Festival Name, and Festival Month as below




Step 4

Once you have filled up all the required fields, click Confirm & Save to record the changes






Step 5

Then fill up the entitled amount in the Entitled Amount field





Step 6

Once filled up the amount, click on Reassign Bonus to add the amount to the created Festival Season and click Save



Step 7

Now you may see the history of the added Festival Bonus in the added Festival Season as below




Step 8

Ensure to select the correct 'Pay Cycle' when processing the payslip to reflect the added Festival Bonus in the payslip
