Generating Replacement Leave (RL)

Modified on Fri, 8 Aug at 11:36 PM

This article will guide you on how to generate the RL for your employees after setting up the Replacement Leave type in your Worksy system.

If you haven't set up an RL, refer to this guide for step-by-step: Setting Up Replacement Leave

Conditions for Generating Replacement Leave (RL)

RL will be credited to employee when:

  • Overtime is detected after scheduled working hours, and
  • The Overtime Pay Mode in the overtime request is set to Replacement Leave.

Overtime in Worksy is detected from below methods:

  • Actual Overtimes: any clocking outside of scheduled work hours or non-working days
  • Pre-Approved OT Hour(s): from shift settings, assigned shifts on non-working days (from duty roster), or approved OT requests.
  • Approved OT Hour(s): based on the Overtime Approval Method in the Schedule setting.

Important: If “Enable Earn Unlocked Attendance” setting is inactive, attendance must be locked before RL is credited.
