Employee Not Permitted to Make Changes on Leave Request

Scenario: When user clicks Request > Leave, a pop-up appears: 

"System Security - You are not permitted to make changes on your request, please check with your admin on this matter if this is an error." 




Solution: Update access rights for the user role.



Step 1

Go to Setting (a) > User Account (b) > Access Right (c).





Step 2

a. On the left panel, search for the employee’s role.

b. On the right side, under Menu Permissions, find Right Menu and click the + button to expand it. Click the Edit button at the top of the page.




Step 3

Under My Request > Leave, tick both View and Edit boxes. Click Save button at the top of the page.



Once updated, the employee should now be able to submit their leave request successfully.
